I am a sophomore student at Westlake High School. Right now I am part of the Westlake High School Climbing team. In the future I would like to have a job in the Medical field, or Outdoor Recreation.
2. Tell us your story of how you came to do CrossFit and how long have you been doing it (at 1976 and/or others)?
I started Crossfit a little over a year ago. I first heard of it when my Mom asked me to go with her one morning. It has been awesome! I love how you do something different everyday, it keeps you from getting bored. It goes over every aspect of Fitness.
3. What are some of the successes you’ve experienced?
One of my biggest accomplishments that I am proud of is hiking 50 miles at the 50/20 they do on the Pony Express Trail. I was originally planning on only hiking the first 20, but found that I could go further than expected.

A big goal I had for this year is to do the Spartan Race. The one me and my dad are doing is an 8 mile long, 25 obstacle course.
5. What is your favorite movement/exercise?
I really love doing rope climbs. It is something that I think I’m efficient at, and it is awesome to climb a rope!
6. What keeps you motivated?
Just keeping my goals in mind and constantly thinking about how much better I would feel if I carry through and finish something.
7. Any tips or advice for a CrossFit 1976 newbie?
Make sure you stretch, and go light the first couple of weeks so you can master the form.
8. If you could have a super power what would it be and why?
It would be Rad if I could fly. Flying would be so cool because you can explore and see new places.
